Myrick Marine is scheduled to arrive in Mid-October to repair the damaged seawall. The replacement panels and walers are designed to withstand the salt environment. The project is expected to continue through late November.

The Marina Staff successfully made in-house repairs to the separated waterline discovered under the sidewalk in front of the Ship’s Store. The repairs were completed Thursday afternoon, and the replacement concrete sidewalk panel was poured on Friday. The area will re-opened to normal foot traffic Saturday morning.

Staff recognition:

John Anderson received his Forklift Operator Certification utilizing our new in-house Train-the-Trainer instructor. Fernando Marquez has been certified as a Forklift Operator for more than four years at Landings Harbor Marina. He recently advanced his certification level to perform safety training for the Marinas staff. This strategic move will save a large amount of money per year on outside vendors for safety training and forklift operator certifications.

Delegal Creek Marina

Normal Operating Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Delegal Marina operations were normal this week. The staff have been busy keeping up with the increased number of birds that have returned to the area. Weekly pressure washing on the docks will continue as needed. We apologize for the noise but must stay ahead of them as best as possible. The chamber of commerce weather interested several residents in renting kayaks this week. The back waters and creeks are steaming with wildlife during the day this time of year.
