The Rise of Mindful Gifting

The One Hundred Children’s Foundation Book Drive
- Now through December 12, customers can purchase children’s books at Barnes & Noble in Oglethorpe Mall and tell the the cashier the books are to be donated to the OHCF.
The Well on Skidaway Island Now Open
- The Well at Skidaway Island Methodist Church is committed to serving our community by providing a compassionate space for individuals to donate new and gently used items. Donations are distributed to local charitable organizations in the greater Savannah area.

Landlovers Flea Market 2026 Early Pickups

Landings Couples Golf Association Milestone Year 2025
- This year has been a milestone as we became an official Golf Association at The Landings Golf and Athletic Club (LGAC).
- Thanks to the incredible support of more than180 couples — that’s 360 members strong — the Club has officially approved the LCGA as a permanent Couples Golf Association!
Landings Community Leadership Council Actions
- The Landings Community Leadership Council (LCLC), composed of the Executive Committees of The Landings Association (TLA), The Landings Golf & Athletic Club (LGAC), and the Chairman of The Landings Real Estate Company (a TLA subsidiary) recently met on October 30, 2025.
- The members meet regularly to discuss and make recommendations on specific actions.

CDD Weekly Update
- Routine inspections were conducted in Marshwood and Palmetto this week. Follow-up and requested inspections were conducted throughout the island.
- This week, 10 properties were contacted regarding new violations of the Private Property Maintenance Standards, and no properties were contacted to provide courtesy education regarding property maintenance standards.

- BrightView Landscapes began to replace the flower beds at TLA-owned facilities and gatehouses this week.
- Absolute Concrete continued curb repairs on Willeford Drive this week.
On the Security Scene
- On Monday, November 10, Landings Security responded to the Moon River gate in response to a single vehicle accident.
- The Guardian Pro Camera has been deployed at Shellwind Drive near Sundew Road. From November 5-11, there were 42 violations.

- Join the Skidaway Abigails at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 20 at Messiah Lutheran Church (1 West Ridge Road) for its monthly meeting.
CCA Annual Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’: December 14
- What better way to spend a sunny, fall afternoon around large tables topped with piles of steaming oysters, clams, and crab legs, savoring every bite reminiscent of the briny sea.
- That is what you will experience at CCA Skidaway’s Annual Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’.
- This year’s roast is being held at Landings Harbor Marina’s picnic grounds on Sunday, December 14 from 2 to 4 p.m.

- Did you know there are 49 different species of dolphins and porpoises?
- The dolphins that can be seen in the waters off Skidaway Island are bottlenose dolphins, perhaps the most popular species, thanks to movies and aquatic shows.
