  • The deadline to vote in the 2026-2028 Landings Association Board Candidate Election is Monday, October 13 at 4 p.m.
  • To date, the percentage of members voting is 25 percent. If you have not yet voted, please do so today.

  • Just purchase a Landings Dog Park tag and you are on your way. All dogs must register yearly and wear the tag when in the Park.

Register Now for Turtle Events!

  • Skidaway Audubon volunteers have rescued thousands of Diamondback terrapins eggs from sand traps in The Landings this summer, and the little hatchlings are ready to be released into the wild.
  • Landings residents are invited to come help send these adorable newborns on their way. Community hatchling releases are scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at Sunset Park. An additional release is set for Oct. 12 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Cell Tower Coverage Challenges and Solutions on the South End of the Island

  • Residents and visitors on the south end of the island have long reported persistent problems with cell coverage, particularly for AT&T customers.
  • According to recent correspondence, AT&T is aware of these ongoing service issues but, to date, has not taken meaningful steps to add or upgrade equipment in the affected area.
  • While Wi-Fi calling can help fill some gaps, it’s not a holistic solution for those who rely on their mobile network for outdoor use, emergency calls, or travel around the island.

TLA Discontinues Dump Ticket Sales Until Further Notice

  • Evergreen Tree Service recently announced it is experiencing difficulties processing materials due to the planned International Paper mill closures in September.
  • Until further notice, TLA has discontinued the sale of dump tickets at both The Landings Association’s Administrative Office (600 Landings Way) and all gates.

Public Works…Working for You!

  • This week, KM Striping is working to restripe approximately 181 stop bars and 37 crosswalks in Midpoint, Marshview Landing, along Landings Way South, Lake Street, and Westridge Road (TLA-owned streets in The Village).
  • Southeast Pipe is in the process of evaluating the causes of the storm drain pipe failures that occurred on Pennystone Retreat and Chatuachee Crossing.
  • Coastal Marine & Equipment completed dredging Lagoons 109 (near Fiddler Crab Retreat) and 46 (near Log Landing Road) this week.

CDD Weekly Update

  • Routine inspections were conducted in Marshview Landing and Deer Creek this week. Follow-up and requested inspections were conducted throughout the island.
  • This week, five properties were contacted regarding new violations of the Private Property Maintenance Standards, and one property was contacted to provide courtesy education regarding property maintenance standards.

  • On Wednesday, August 27, Landings Security responded to a residence on Middleton Road for a report of a theft.
  • On Thursday, August 28, a resident on Mainsail Crossing contacted Landings Security to report a theft from his residence.
  • On Friday, August 29, a resident on Lakewood Court reported that a package had been stolen off his porch.
  • On Wednesday, August 27, Landings Security responded to a possible gas leak on Back River Circle.

  • Last week, Myrick Marine began receiving materials to replace the section of the seawall damaged during the 2024 Hurricane Season.
  • Marinas staff met with Southern Pump and Tank to discuss the fuel tank replacement project at Delegal Creek Marina.
