Effective immediately, the guest lane at both the Oakridge and North (Marshwood) gates will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. All guest traffic from these gates will be diverted to the Main Gate during this time frame. The nightly gate closures will continue as a mitigating factor due to recent entering auto thefts.
Additional patrols will be conducted throughout the community, and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) has been asked formally to increase their patrols as well. We are working diligently to identify possible suspects and assist CCPD in its investigation.
