Bounce Houses and Inflatable Pools

Spring has sprung, and summer is just around the corner! Here’s everything you need to know about making the most of inflatable pools and bounce houses this season.

Inflatable pools are perfect for cooling off, but it is best to set them up on pavement/hardscaped areas to keep your lawn looking fresh. Otherwise, they can damage turf by smothering the grass —  depriving it of air, water, and sunlight. This may result in yellowing and stress on your grass.  Remember to tidy up once the fun is over and store your pools out of sight from streets, golf courses, or neighbors when not in use, as stated in The Landings’ Private Property Maintenance Standards (Section 5.A.5).

Bounce houses add an extra layer of fun to any gathering. Though allowed for temporary use, they should be screened from neighbors, streets, and golf courses while in use, as stated in the Architectural Guidelines (ARC 3.22). When using bounce houses, be mindful of the noise from the blower to ensure your fun does not disturb neighbors embracing a quiet moment. And be sure to store these fun spaces out of view when the party is over (PPMS, Section 5.A.5).

Embrace the warm weather and longer days filled with sunshine, by engaging in outdoor adventures and cherished moments with family and friends!
