Deer Creek Village Gate Update
On Tuesday, PTI was onsite continuing to troubleshoot the Deer Creek Village Gate issues. One of the techs performed an adjustment on the reader module, which seems to have resolved the issue of the gate reader periodically freezing up.
Delegal Marina Light Pole Repair
One of the light poles in the Delegal Creek Marina Parking Lot was not illuminating due to faulty internal wiring. During the repair, staff discovered that the underground wiring feeding the pole was not properly run through any conduit. New conduit was installed along with wiring from the power source to the pole base and new wiring from the base to light fixture. The light is now illuminating and working properly!
Common Property Tree Removal
RD Tree Service will be onsite next week to begin removing 12 trees that are diseased and/or damaged from storm-related events on common property. These trees are either too large and/or dangerous for our in-house staff to remove.
Storm Drain Inlet Repairs
Absolute Concrete began working on the replacement of damaged storm drain inlets on Westcross Road and Shellwind Drive this week.
Road Maintenance
Bennett Paving completed paving Vandy Court this week. The road required significant repairs after Georgia Power bored through a sewer line and damaging the asphalt and curb.
Storm Drain Repairs
In-house staff was notified about a sinkhole that developed on Pennystone Retreat. After further evaluation, staff discovered that a utility company had bored into our storm drain pipe causing the road failure. Currently, staff is working with the utility company to resolve the issue, which will ultimately result in a pipe and road repair at the expense of the utility company.
Lagoon 45 Valve Replacement
This week, PINCO completed the valve replacement in Lagoon 45 (which is located off of Westcross and Log Landing roads). After the replacement, the contractor filled the lagoon with water to return the lagoon levels back to normal. PINCO will return to the site next week to complete a few minor punch list items, which will conclude the project.
