Community Path at Oakridge Gate Temporary Closure

The Community Path at the Oakridge Gate will be closed for maintenance from Monday, September 22 through Friday, September 26. During this closure, please use alternate routes or the following detour(s).

Detour:

To and From the Village & Oakridge Clubhouse, etc.

You will go through the traffic intersection at Diamond Causeway and Westcross Road as normal. However, there will be a detour that will take you around The Landings Club Golf Course Hole #3 to Tarrow Ridge Road. This path will be used for golf cart and pedestrian traffic traveling in both directions.

Detour signage will be posted, and staff personnel will be available throughout the detour route.

The community path that runs parallel to Westcross Road from Tarrow Ridge Road will also be closed during this project.

Road Cutback Program

Road cutbacks continued this week along Landings Way South and Peregrine Crossing. As a reminder, this program is completed annually and encompasses lifting the canopies up over the roadways to provide proper heights for emergency vehicles and other large vehicles within the community.

Community Path Maintenance

Absolute Concrete completed community path panel repairs on Landings Way North and along Bartram Road this week. To date, over 200 panels have been replaced.

Road Maintenance

Absolute Concrete completed curb repairs on Vandy Court this week. These repairs were completed after a Georgia Power bored through a sewer line, thus damaging the asphalt and curb.

Southeast Pipe completed CIPP lining process on the pipe failure that occurred below the roadway on Chatuachee Crossing and Priest Landing Drive this week.

In-house staff replaced the track for the slider gate at the Deer Creek McWhorter Gatehouse this week. Completing these repairs caused some of the delays many residents experienced this week, so we appreciate your patience as we worked to complete this work.

This week, in house staff continued excavating the revetment at the intersection of Bartram Road and Priest Landing Drive. Once this process has been completed, the installation of the interlocking retaining wall blocks will begin.
