Skidaway Island Methodist Church is excited to announce the Grand Opening of The Well on Sunday, September 14 at 11:15 a.m. The Well is located in our back parking lot at SIMC (54 Diamond Causeway).
The Well at Skidaway Island Methodist Church is committed to serving our community by providing a compassionate space for individuals to donate new and gently used items. Donations are distributed to local charitable organizations in the greater Savannah area, supporting those in need and uplifting our neighbors. By partnering with local nonprofit organizations, we aim to provide essential resources to individuals and families in the greater Savannah area.
A few of the places The Well will benefit:
- Sleep in Heavenly Peace · Parker’s House/ Union Mission
- Tharros Place · Chatham Savannah Homeless Authority
- Family Promise · CASA: Foster Care
- PACK Savannah · Old Savannah City Mission
Donations: We are currently only accepting donations from our pre-opening Amazon wish list. After The Well opens, we’ll share details on the types of donations needed, as we plan to support a different local non-profit each month. These items are essential for our opening day, and your support will make a big difference!

After Sept. 14, The Well will be open Tuesdays 2 to 4 p.m., Thursdays 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the first Sunday of every month from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. Continue to check the website for more hours, learn more about The Well, and to keep up to date with needed donations.
