SKIDAWAY AUDUBON RAPTORS AND REPTILES LIVE!

The Center for Wildlife Education of Georgia Southern University brings its live raptor and reptile showcase to The Landings on Saturday, Oct. 11, where residents can get up-close looks at majestic hawks, tiny owls, and a variety of fascinating reptiles. Since it opened in 1997, the Center for Wildlife Education has become one of the leading environmental education facilities in Georgia. Each year, more than 17,000 school children and residents participate in the center’s education and outreach programs.

All are welcome to this very popular, special event which gets underway at 10:00 a.m. at The Landings Athletic Field, 600 Landings Way. This unique opportunity to view and learn about local birds of prey and other wildlife is presented by Skidaway Audubon. There is no fee for this family-friendly event.
