If you approached the Deer Creek/Village Gate this past weekend and found yourself muttering in frustration to no avail, “Open Sesame!” please keep reading this message.
Your Association shares your frustration, and our team looks forward to correcting the problem. The culprit is a malfunctioning RFID Reader. A new reader has been ordered, and once it arrives, it will be installed. Additionally, the Public Works Team will maintain additional readers and selected gate components in inventory to help minimize future repair delays.
In the meantime, our Security Staff continues to monitor the gate and periodically power cycle the old unit to maintain its function.
We understand the importance of reliable gate access for everyone, and we appreciate your patience as we await the new RFID Reader, which should resolve these interruptions.
