Introduction
The Board of Directors of The Landings Association, Inc. updates its Strategic Plan every three years. The last update was adopted by the Board on December 21, 2021, and has served to guide the fundamental decisions and actions that have shaped and steered the organization. The Board is now seeking a facilitator to aid in the development of our 2025-2027 Strategic Plan.
The Board regards its Strategic Plan as a living document and reviews its components monthly to confirm that it is being used to guide decision making. It is updated to ensure that TLA is adapting to changing demographics, environmental and economic challenges, and external pressures.
Background
The Landings Association (TLA) is a not-for-profit corporation, formed in 1972, to promote the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of The Landings on Skidaway Island. It is an Audubon certified sustainable community.
Its Mission is to maintain common property, provide services, and administer covenants in a publicly responsible and efficient manner.
Its Vision is to be the most vibrant private residential community in the Southeast and to be stewards of the naturally beautiful coastal environment in which we live, work, play, and actively pursue economic, environmental and social sustainability. We aim to create and foster an active lifestyle, along with experiences and services that enhance our sense of community, security and quality of life.
Project Scope
We seek an individual as our facilitator to lead our Strategic Planning effort. - Facilitation of Planning Sessions: Lead and facilitate strategic planning sessions with the Board of Directors, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with the Board to identify and engage key stakeholders, such as focus groups, within the community to gather input and feedback. This also includes the wholly-owned subsidiary The Landings Company, as well as The Landings Golf & Athletic Club.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Review the recent member survey, facilitate focus groups, gather other relevant data, and analyze this data to assist the strategic planning process.
- Drafting the Strategic Plan: Collaborate with the Board to draft a comprehensive strategic plan, including mission, vision, goals, and actionable steps.
- Progress Monitoring: Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for our Board to track the implementation and success of the strategic plan.
