Georgia Power has notified The Landings Association that as they were setting up to begin today’s work, they encountered an issue that caused the power to go out earlier than the anticipated start time of 10:30 a.m. Additionally, they have realized that in addition to affecting homes from Shellwind Drive to Sundew Road (including some side streets), it also will affect all of Islander’s Retreat.
Barring any further complications, power should be restored to all affected locations today by 3:30 p.m.
