The Landings Association recently contacted Chatham County regarding the severe traffic backup leaving The Landings today (June 1). We learned the delays are caused by tree trimming in the area being coordinated by the County.
County officials tell us the work will continue throughout the day until approximately 4 or 5 p.m. At various points during the work traffic will be reduced to one lane.
The County apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your patience during this work.
