Confetti is a favorite party decoration because it instantly can add color and whimsy to any theme. However, the metallic and plastic pieces are not recyclable and usually are sent to the landfill after the party. Next time you’re looking to make a statement with your party décor, consider making confetti with a hole punch and colored leaves or flower petals.
