Landings Community Park
The Landings Community Park includes The Landings Association’s Baseball/Softball Diamond and five Soccer Fields/Lacrosse Fields (to accommodate different levels of play), located near the Association’s office at 600 Landings Way. The Practice Soccer Field is located near the water tower on Landings Way North. Members must schedule the use of these areas in advance for any organized activity. In the interest of fairness, all Athletic Field reservations will be taken on a first come, first-served basis. Limitations are enforced regarding length of field time, and reservations are not automatically renewed each year. For more information regarding the Athletic Fields, please call the Association (912-598-2520) and speak with a Community Relations Representative or visit www.landings.org.
The newly redesigned Landings Community Park and playground area officially opened in 2021. In addition to ziplining, it includes a Hedra® Scout (developmentally appropriate activities populate this geometric circuit of continuous exploration); a 24’ x 24’ shade pavilion for small events and protection from the sun; upgraded lighting; resurfacing of the basketball courts and new hoops; and a third base-line safety netting. There also is a shock-absorbing safety surfaced walking/jogging trail.
The shade pavilion at the Park may be reserved for no more than two, two-hour blocks per day by an individual or group. When not reserved, it will be available for use on a first come, first-served basis.
